Edition: From an edition of about 100; the plate was included in A Portfolio of Autograph Etchings, published by James R. Osgood & Co., Boston, 1881; impressions of En Plein Soleil from this portfolio are signed in pencil and bear the artist’s stamp (Lugt 1545), as this print does.
Signature: Signed in pencil “J. Tissot” lower left, outside the platemark.
Annotation: “no. 15” in pencil in the lower left margin; we are uncertain if the numbering is from the time the print was issued.
Watermark: Rives

Impression: Extremely fine, rich with burr
Condition: Excellent; full margins with deckle edges on all sides
